2019 Broker Responsibility

The purpose of this course is to address the regulatory aspects of the management, operation and supervision of a real estate brokerage firm in
Texas. The course provides an understanding and working knowledge of a broker’s responsibilities and obligations under 22 TAC 535.5. This rule
sets out specific requirements and best practices for brokers.
Final Exam will consist of 24 exam questions 3 additional questions. Students may be allowed up to 40 minutes to complete the exam.
- For classroom delivery, the exam will be given as part of class instruction. The correct answers must be reviewed in class and students are not to be graded
- For distance education delivery, the exam must be given after completion of regular coursework and students must pass the exam at 70% pass rate. Students who fail the exam on the first attempt may take a second exam that is different from the first exam. The 2nd exam must be taken within 30 days of the first exam. Students are required to re-take the course if the second exam is failed.
